Hello, curious person.
You've found a small corner of the internet with no grand mission. Just a place to keep track of things I find interesting.
I'm CW. I'm a software engineer by profession, but my interests reach well beyond software.
Movies that linger after the credits. Audiobooks that make a long drive feel shorter. Apps and gadgets that actually solve a problem. A random idea from a podcast that sends me down a rabbit hole.
Some of these things deserve a proper review. Others only need a sentence or two. This website is for both.
Why keep it public?
Mostly so I don't forget. And partly because recommendations from real people tend to be more interesting than polished lists of the “10 best” everything.
I don't claim to be an expert in every topic here. These are my experiences and impressions, which can change with time. I might love something, dislike something popular, or come back and change my mind.
What you'll find here
Short notes on films and TV; books I've read or listened to; tools, websites and electronics I've actually tried; and observations that don't quite fit anywhere else.
A note about anonymity
CW is the only name I use here. I prefer to keep the focus on the things rather than the person behind the site.
Thanks for stopping by. Maybe you'll discover something worth keeping too.
